Hello! I’m Dr. Lindsay Diaz, one of the providers at Family Dental Care Park Ridge. I earned my Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Marquette University School of Dentistry in 2010. Before becoming a dentist, I worked as a full-time dental hygienist for three years and continued practicing throughout my dental education. Having a wide knowledge of oral and periodontal health allows me to treat my patients more comprehensively.

I’m an active member of the American Dental Association, the Illinois State Dental Association, and the Chicago Dental Society. I believe it’s crucial to stay updated with current topics, techniques, and procedures in dentistry. To do this, I attend continuing education courses year-round.

As a general dentist, I typically perform exams, restorations, and fixed restorative work including veneers, crowns, and bridges. I also have experience with implant restoration, creating removable appliances, and extractions. I’m also certified in BOTOX® for improving facial esthetics.

My husband and I live in Oak Park with our two young daughters. In my free time, I enjoy cheering for my Alma Mater Marquette University during basketball season and rooting for the Chicago Bears in the fall. I also spend time with my family and enjoy active hobbies such as hot yoga and jogging. People often ask me why I chose to become a dentist. While it’s true that I had a strange desire to explore inside people’s mouths after going through orthodontic treatment, what truly fuels my passion is making our patients feel comfortable. I treat everyone like family and strive to address any anxieties or concerns they may have. I aim to change the common view of dentists, one smile at a time.
