Meet The Staff
Rita, RDH
Rita graduated from Prairie State College with an Associate’s Degree and received her dental hygienist license in 1999. Before becoming a dental hygienist, she worked as a dental assistant for 12 years. Rita is certified to administer Local Anesthetic, Nitrous Oxide sedation, and Diode Laser treatment. Her ultimate goal is to provide quality care to all her patients. The most important part of her job is not only to educate her patients but also to help maintain their overall dental health. She regularly attends continuing education courses as new treatments become available in dentistry.
In her free time, Rita enjoys spending time with her family. She also likes traveling, reading, and relaxing with her dog and cat.

Connie, RDH
After graduating from the Dental Hygiene program at Southern Illinois University, I decided to pursue a career in Dental Hygiene because I wanted to help people maintain healthy smiles and build relationships with many wonderful families. It’s a privilege to treat and connect with my patients.
Outside of work, I like to spend time with my family, read, ride bikes, travel, and relax at Paw Paw Lake.

Andrea, Office Manager
Welcome to our practice! I am the friendly face at the front desk. I love finding ways to help patients smile, including building confidence in sharing their smiles. I always look forward to meeting new patients and establishing long-term dental relationships. Over the years, I have gotten to know many of our established patients and have watched many of them grow up. To me, they are family.
I truly love what I do and am happy to answer your questions, plan for appointments, help resolve concerns, and make your visits positive. I am also here to assist you by explaining and discussing your insurance benefits and processing dental claims. I enjoy working with you on the financial aspects of your dental needs.
I have been working with Dr. Demas since January of 2014. However, I have been in the dental field for over 16 years. I have taken courses on dental and medical insurance billing, which have helped me process claims faster. Our staff is very warm and inviting, and I appreciate the positive environment here. We all work extremely well together to provide the best experience for you.
Agatha, Front Office Coordinator
Hello! I’m Agatha, the friendly face at the front desk of Family Dental Care Park Ridge. I have 7 years of experience in dentistry and over 27 years of experience in customer and patient relations. I enjoy interacting with people and love hearing our patients’ stories. It’s rewarding to see them leave with a happier and more confident smile. I have an easy-going and positive personality, always eager to help others. My interest in the medical field led me to the dental industry, where I enjoy learning about various dental terms and procedures.
Outside of work, I like to relax with my family and our dog, Hodor, who happens to be the wrinkliest dog on earth. I have a teenager so my quiet time isn’t always peaceful, but I try to find moments to relax and enjoy some quiet time, sometimes even practicing yoga.
Jes, Receptionist
I started working for Family Dental Care Park Ridge in 2012. I was Dr. Diaz’s assistant for over 14 years. I recently got promoted to be a receptionist, and I truly enjoy helping Andrea and Agatha. I have learned so much from them and am fortunate to work alongside them. I respect the knowledge, kindness, and excellent skills of our doctors, which enable us to provide the best dental care possible. The teamwork and upbeat attitudes shown by all the staff make each workday a great day. Along with the guidance of three wonderful doctors and great co-workers, I enjoy getting to know each patient.
Valentina, Receptionist
Hello, I’m Valentina, and I’m thrilled to be a part of the Family Dental Care Park Ridge team. With more than 20 years of experience in the dental field, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our practice. Previously, I had the pleasure of working alongside Dr. David Kravtsov as his front office receptionist before his well-deserved retirement. The entire team at Family Dental Care Park Ridge has been incredibly supportive in ensuring a seamless transition for Dr. Kravtsov’s former patients, and we’ve been warmly welcoming them into our care.
During my leisure time, nothing brings me more joy than spending quality moments with my grandchildren and embarking on adventures to new destinations.
Maureen, Dental Assistant
Dentistry, along with patient dedication, is my passion. I have been working as a dental assistant for over forty years. These years of experience have allowed me to become adept at not only general dentistry but also the fields of oral surgery and endodontics. In the fall of 2016, I joined Family Dental Care Park Ridge.
I truly love hands-on learning, and a good example of that is my volunteer work at Dental Access Days, an organization that provides free dentistry to underserved communities.
My goal is to help provide patients with optimum dentistry through efficiency, respect, and understanding.

I have recently been hired as Dr. Diaz’s assistant. Everyone here has been very welcoming, and I enjoy interacting with the patients and my co-workers. I have been working in dentistry for 8 years and am certified in prophylaxis.
In my free time, I love spending time with my two kids and family. I also enjoy traveling and visiting my native Puerto Rico whenever I can.

Hello everyone, I am the newest addition to the office. I was born and raised in Bulgaria and moved to Illinois 20 years ago. I have been in the dental field for 6 years and I enjoy working with patients and helping them understand how important dental hygiene is for their overall self-care. Joining Family Dental Care Park Ridge has been a pleasure and a privilege! I can continue helping and caring for our patients.
In my free time, I love spending time with my husband, two children, friends, and family.
